After ten years of accumulating experience in hospitality, in 2013, I decided to make a radical change in my life and dedicate myself exclusively to coffee.
That made me quit my job and move to Barcelona, where the world of specialty coffee was coming.
After a few hard months, Jordi Mestre, founder of NOMAD, hired me as a barista in his first coffee shop, NOMAD COFFEE LAB & SHOP.
More than eight years have passed since that day, and I have grown professionally and personally.
From a barista, I became a roaster.
From a roaster, I started to decide on what coffees we have on our menu as a Head of Coffee.
NOMAD became so much a part of my life that I even invested in it, and now I am a partner together with Jordi Mestre.
Today, in addition to deciding on green coffee purchases and supervising and helping the team of roasters (Caro and Marco),
I also help Jordi in taking decisions in the company"s direction.
